Senior Backend Developer (Node.js) - Braga

Currently, we are seeking an exceptional Backend Developer who thrives on complex challenges, and is ready to seize this fantastic opportunity.

Responsibilities:
- Architect, design, and develop robust backend services and APIs using TypeScript;
- Design, implement, and manage database schemas, queries, and transactions;
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver efficient solutions;
- Ensure high performance and responsiveness by optimizing server-side logic and database queries;
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers;
- Write and execute unit and integration tests, identifying and fixing bugs or performance issues;
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends in backend development and TypeScript.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
- 5+ years of experience in backend development;
- Experience with backend frameworks such as Node.js or Nest.js;
- Proven expertise in TypeScript and JavaScript;
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and server-side programming;
- Experience building RESTful APIs;
- Proficiency in relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB;
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and independently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
- Understanding Agile methodologies;
- Fluent level of English;
- Living in Lisbon or Braga (hybrid role).
